The Counsel is the bag the workshop was built on — three gussets, a lockable solid brass clasp, and a handle rolled and stitched to sit like a handshake. It holds a 16-inch laptop in a padded sleeve our grandfathers would call 'the documents compartment'.

Craftsmanship
Cut from 12-ounce English bridle leather from a single tannery in Staffordshire, saddle-stitched at eleven stitches to the inch with waxed linen thread. The handle is rolled around a solid core and stitched through four layers — the single most expensive hour in the bag, and the reason it never fails.
